Who We Are:

Employable is a specialist Supported Employment Agency based in the Nelson Tasman region. For over 25 years, we’ve been helping people with disabilities or health barriers find and thrive in meaningful work.

 

We provide tailored support for job seekers, students, and employers — making the process of finding, starting, and sustaining employment as easy and positive as possible. Our focus is on ability, not disability, and on creating inclusive workplaces that benefit everyone.

 

Our Journey:

Originally established in the early 1990s under the Village Community Trust, our organisation has evolved to meet the changing needs of our community. In 2019, we rebranded to employable, reflecting our modern, person-centred approach and commitment to inclusion.

 

Today, Employable continues to work closely with local employers, schools, and support networks — connecting people with opportunities, confidence, and long-term success in employment.
